Getting to Know the Artist
Who is Danielle N. Perry? She is a Maryland native who gave her life to Christ at a young age. From childhood, she had a deep passion for music. Whether singing in church or learning to play instruments on her own or at school, her love for music continued to expand throughout her childhood and into her college years. With God's help, she began writing songs on her guitar and today, she is a musician, singer, songwriter, producer, podcaster, and more. She is joyfully married to her best friend, Jared Perry, who has supported and encouraged her musical growth throughout their 12 years of marriage. Together, their creativity has produced an album titled, Unconventional Pt. 1.
Unconventional Pt. 1 is a Christ-centered project from independent artist Danielle N. Perry. Every line and melody is built on biblical truth, drawing directly from the promises, stories, and teachings found in the Word of God.
Danielle seeks to create music that exalts Jesus. Each song points listeners back to the Gospel of Jesus the Christ and encourages believers to live boldly in obedience to His Word.
As her music doesn't fit into one category, Danielle uses her God-given creativity to blend influences of acoustic, jazz, neo-soul, and other genres of music which aim to serve multi-generations, all with a Christ centered message.
From powerful declarations of God’s sovereignty to gentle reminders of His steadfast love, Unconventional Pt. 1 serves as both worship and discipleship, offering songs that can strengthen faith and deepen understanding of who God is according to the Bible for the new believer, and those mature in the faith. Unconventional Pt. 1 is more than music — it’s a ministry through sound, proclaiming the eternal message of God’s Word in every note.
